As a consultant I have worked from a home base for several years. Alone. Recently all of that changed. My ex-wife, who has lived with me for the past four years (it's a long story) was included in what her office calls the "Hoteling Program". What that means is that now we're together nearly 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I started writing this blog from the perspective of a man who has the uncanny ability to compartmentalize his life to the point that his ex-wife is nothing but a new co-worker invading his office space. From Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00, she is someone he knows nothing about.
